Start saving images of space related things you like. And start feeling into the colors you’d like as well as what style of painting.
- Would you like crisp, bold cartoon shapes, or detailed more realistic looking objects?
- Would you like dramatically blended colors in your background, or a simple solid color background?

- A space mural can be painted to match space bedding or other space room decor.
- Faux finish the ceiling to create a space or galaxy environment.
- Go for a simple space mural by painting themed items strategically around your room.
- Or, Paint every square inch of a single wall with a dramatic space scene.
- Add anything you want…the sun, solar system, planets, stars, meteors, an astronaut, a man on the moon, or have your child’s name written in the stars, paint star formations, constellations, a martian, an alien, a spaceship or rockets. You could even paint a Star Wars mural on the snow planet, desert planet or a space scene with fighter ships.
